Under the fair presentation of the company EGGER wood products at this year’s ZOW from 08to 11.02. celebrated the “Virtual Design Studio” premiere.
The design agency GROSSE8 developed on behalf of the communications agency for PLAY FRAME EGGER with the “VDS” a presentation tool for pattern visualization in real time and in full size.
During the presentation by the operation of a pass from the company programmed Active Online, touch screen interfaces configurable decor combinations of an inherent 3D mapping module that projects the spatially adjusted data pattern over two full HD projector to two cubes.
The result is before the eyes of the viewer the illusion of a kitchen or an office furniture in original size. The observer has to assess in this way to make its decorative combinations in a realistic spatial effect.
Top priority in the implementation of this new presentation module were the faithful reproduction of the decorative details and decorative paints.
From early March 2010, the “Virtual Design Studio” be part of the revised permanent exhibition in the Austrian parent company of the EGGER Group in St. Johann / Tirol.

Dairy Crest’s flavoured milk drink brand, FRijj, is launching a multi-media campaign featuring augmented reality across its entire range in a bid to drive consumer brand awareness.

adidas Originals is launching the first Augmented Reality experience in footwear. The adidas Originals AR Game Pack is a set of 5 shoes, each printed with an AR code on the tongue. When you hold the code in front of your webcam, you’ll gain access to a virtual version of the adidas Originals Neighborhood. Each month between February and April, we’ll launch a new interactive game within the Neighborhood and your shoe will be the game controller.
