<p>How do you sell a car like the new 2012 Beetle? You shoot a fun ad that showcases the car from all angles. The more difficult question is how do you wow the pants off people with the ad? You let them experience it in 3D!</p>
<p>The resulting app uses AR to project 3D animations onto actual surfaces such as billboards and bus shelters when you point your iPhone or iPad at them. The Beetle comes flying out of the ad and jumps off ramps, right on your mobile device!</p>

With the cooperation of The City of Beverly Hills and using innovative technology, thousands of SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS combined with LED lights will deliver a modern, interactive holiday experience with the exciting, crystalline creation; the installation is more than pure decoration and enables communication in brilliant new ways for the holiday season. Adding even more glamour to the sparkling celebration, the iconic Via Rodeo Drive lampposts will also be crystallized throughout the holiday season.</p>

As dusk falls, the spectacular sculptures will be transformed into dazzling light, after which Jessica Alba will release the holiday cheer with her own special message, the first to appear on the installations’ ticker tape. Jessica Alba will wear the SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ Winter Garden Necklace at the event to mark the company’s support for her charity<span style="text-decoration: underline;">, baby2baby.org</span>. SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ is making a monetary donation in support of Baby2Baby in the spirit of the holiday season. Baby2Baby is a non-profit organization which supplies greater Los Angeles area families in need with essential gear and clothing for their babies and young children through a network of community-based organizations.</p>

Taking inspiration from the ways in which we transmit information – from DNA, Morse code, ticker tape, text messaging to twitter &#8211; the interactive installation allows anyone anywhere can join Jessica Alba, Mayor Brucker, Nadja Swarovski and designers Roberto Cavalli, Margherita Missoni, Stuart Weitzman to name a few to tweet their very own holiday message, which will then be instantly displayed on one of the installation’s five chrome DNA helix-like sculptures and live streamed on <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/swarovskielements">www.facebook.com/swarovskielements</a></span>. Embellished with thousands of sparkling SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, each sculpture will contain an electronic ticker, reminiscent of the ticker tape, one of the earliest digital electronic communications mediums dating back to the late 1800s.</p>
<p>By using the hashtag <strong>#letitsparkle</strong>, the holiday messages tweeted from around the globe will appear on these sparkling sculptures’ electronic screens. The campaign was executed on two levels: 1) L.A. Adventure, and 2) Nationwide.</p>
<p>The L.A. Adventure was a 3-day scavenger hunt set in downtown Los Angeles during Blog World Expo 2011. Users captured a unique AR object each day to unlock messages and exclusive content for a chance to win daily prizes and enter into the grand prize sweepstakes. Winners were announced November 07.</p>

<p><a href="http://MobileRealtyApps.com" target="_blank">MobileRealtyApps.com</a> debuted it&#8217;s HomeSpotter house hunting feature at the NAR 2011 Expo at the Innovation Open House.</p>
<p>HomeSpotter uses a technology called augmented reality to overlay property information on a device’s live camera feed. As a home hunter points their iPhone down the street, they see a view of the street and info on all the houses for sale pops up. There’s even a radar display that show the direction and proximity of nearby properties for sale.</p>
<p>HomeSpotter is currently available to a limited number of brokers for iPhone and iPad apps, and will be coming soon to Android phones as well. HomeSpotter is the first such platform available on the iPad. It’s also the only readily available solution that allows any real estate broker to have their own augmented realty app.</p>
