After having loads of fun during playtime with OSS-tools such as ARToolkit and FLARManager, it is now time to start exploring the real possibilities of AR. While I enjoy the recent hype of AR in marketing campaigns, I’m convinced the real use of AR lies somewhere else. In areas we’re not aware of yet, because it is an experience we never had access to in reality! We have seen wonderful implementations of AR in various science fiction movies before, but now we can even experience it from the comfort of our own house.
